Addendum for 18+ pages

1. What this addendum covers

This addendum to our Terms of Service applies to anyone who adds 18+ links to their bio-link page or turns on 18+ page mode. It forms part of the Terms of Service and, for these features, prevails over them where the two differ. Our Content rules also apply. This is version 2026-10-25; when you make your 18+ declaration, we record which version you accepted.

2. Who may use 18+ features

• You must be at least 18 years old and of legal age where you live. Our Terms of Service allow accounts from the age of 16, so 18+ features require a separate declaration.
• Before you add your first 18+ link or turn on 18+ page mode, you make an 18+ declaration in the app, each statement in a separate checkbox: that you are at least 18; that your page will contain no explicit content, no offers of sexual services and nothing involving persons under 18, and that everyone shown in your media is an adult who agreed to its publication; and that you accept this addendum. Turning on 18+ page mode also changes the address of your page (see below).
• Only you can turn on 18+ page mode, in the Oktio.app app. It cannot be turned on through an AI assistant or our MCP connector.
• We do not ask for identity documents. If we have reason to believe that you are under 18 or that your declaration is untrue, we turn off your 18+ features and may close your account.
• We may refuse 18+ features to an account that has breached this addendum or our Content rules in the last 12 months.

3. What is allowed

• 18+ links: links to adult subscription platforms on our list, which verify the age and consent of the people in their content, and to your own website once we have approved it. The editor shows the current list; we may change it at any time.
• Your own website: you can ask us in the editor to approve it as an 18+ link target. We decide at our discretion and may withdraw an approval, for example if the content of the website or its age checks change. You remain responsible for the website and for complying with the laws that apply to it, including age verification where it is required.
• Labelling: every 18+ link is labelled 18+. On a normal page visitors confirm that they are adults before each 18+ link opens; on an 18+ page they confirm it once for the whole page. You must not hide or disguise 18+ links, for example with link shorteners or redirects.
• Text: the text of an 18+ page may be sexually suggestive, but it must not describe sexual acts explicitly or offer sexual services.
• Suggestive media: images and videos showing, for example, lingerie or covered nudity are allowed only on an 18+ page, and only once our automated check of uploaded media is in operation. Each such file is checked before it is published and refused if it is explicit. Until the check is in operation, suggestive media cannot be added.

4. What is never allowed, even on 18+ pages

Everything our Content rules prohibit, and in particular:

• explicit sexual content (visible genitals or sexual activity) hosted or displayed on Oktio.app, including images loaded from other websites;
• child sexual abuse material, and any person under 18, or who appears to be under 18, in a sexual or suggestive context;
• content showing a person who did not agree to its recording or publication, intimate images shared without consent, and sexual deepfakes;
• offers of sexual services, escort or meeting advertising, and content connected with human trafficking;
• leaked or pirated content, and links to it;
• using Oktio.app to sell adult content or to take payment for it.

By using 18+ features you confirm that everyone shown in your content was at least 18 years old when it was recorded and agreed to its recording and publication, that you hold the necessary rights, and that you or the platform you link to keep the records of age and consent that the applicable law requires.

5. The separate address and your previous address

• When you turn on 18+ page mode, your page moves to https://18.oktio.link/ followed by your page address. It is shown only after a full-page age confirmation, it is not indexed by search engines, and previews in messages and on social networks show neither your name nor your photos.
• For 14 days your previous addresses (on oktio.link, oktio.bio, oktio.me and oktio.app/l/) redirect every visitor to the new address. After that they show a neutral "page not found" and no longer lead to your page. If you turn 18+ page mode off and on again within 90 days, no new 14-day period starts. You must update the link in your Instagram bio and anywhere else yourself; the editor shows the new address and a QR code.
• If you turn 18+ page mode off, your page returns to its usual address and the 18+ address keeps redirecting to it.
• We show search engines, social networks and their link checks exactly the same page as people. We do not hide 18+ pages from Instagram or any other platform.

6. Instagram, TikTok and other platforms

Instagram, TikTok and other platforms have their own rules on links to adult content and may restrict your account or your links even if your page complies with this addendum. We do not promise that an 18+ page or an 18+ link is acceptable to any platform, and we are not responsible for measures a platform takes against your account. Check the platform's rules before you link to your page.

7. Transparency towards brands

• A promotion connected to a collaboration with a brand appears on your 18+ page only after the brand has agreed in the collaboration to this placement, and only for as long as the agreement stands; the brand can withdraw it at any time.
• Campaign reports state when clicks came from an 18+ page, and enquiries sent from an 18+ page are marked as such in your brand records.

8. Free, never a paid feature

18+ features are free on every plan. They are not part of any paid plan and we will not offer them for a fee. Oktio.app does not sell or host adult content and does not process payments for it; a subscription, if you have one, pays for other features of the Service.

9. Breaches and their consequences

We may check 18+ pages and links, and anyone can report them. A person decides on every measure. For breaches of this addendum we usually proceed as follows; a breach counts for 12 months:

• first minor breach (for example an unlabelled 18+ link, a link to a website that is not allowed, or suggestive media on a normal page): we hide the item and warn you;
• second minor breach within 12 months, or publishing explicit media: we turn off your 18+ features for 30 days;
• third minor breach within 12 months: we suspend your bio-link page for 90 days or close your account under the Terms of Service;
• child sexual abuse material, any sexualisation of minors, intimate images shared without consent, human trafficking or offers of sexual services: we close your account immediately and permanently, you may not open a new one, and we report the matter to the competent authorities.

In serious cases we may skip steps. Every measure taken on the basis of a report comes with a statement of reasons; for other measures we also tell you the reasons. You can ask us to review any measure, as described in the Content rules.

10. Turning off, records and changes

• You can turn off 18+ page mode and remove 18+ links at any time.
• We may turn off 18+ features for an account for the reasons above or where the law requires it. If we stop offering 18+ features altogether, we will tell you at least 30 days in advance, unless the law requires us to act sooner.
• We keep a record of each time you make or withdraw your 18+ declaration (for 18+ links or for 18+ page mode): the time, the statements you confirmed, the version of this addendum and a keyed one-way hash of your IP address. We keep it for as long as your account exists. After you delete your account, we keep it for 3 years under a pseudonym, without your account ID and the IP hash. Our Privacy Policy explains this in detail.
• We may change this addendum under the rules for changes in our Terms of Service. Each version has its own date; after a new version, the app asks you to accept it before you add new 18+ links or turn on 18+ page mode again.
